Hello I have a 2018 Honda Fit Sport, and this 2 inch hitch is ideal for my needs. Will it require a shop to install? Is fascia trimming involved? Please advise, thank you.

Hey David,

A bit of fascia trimming on the underside of your 2018 Honda Fit Sport is needed to install the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH78VR.

It won't be visible but is needed so the receiver has a spot to protrude from under your car. I have added a photo below a customer sent in of this hitch on their Honda Fit Sport so you can see how it'll look. As for the install, it isn't a requirement for a shop to do, it just depends on how handy you generally are and if it's something you want to tackle by yourself. If not, I have added a link below to our installer locator which you can use to find an installer near you.

And finally, just in the interest of being thorough, if you also wanted a 4-way trailer connector for your '18 Fit, the correct part is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118767.
