Does EcoHitch for 2019 Honda Fit Require Fascia Trimming

Question:

Hi I haven’t been able to find any videos for installing this hitch onto the 2019 Honda Fit. I would like this hitch as it is the only one that has a 2” hitch. I saw videos of it being installed onto a 2016 Honda Fit which required trimming the vehicles fender. I was wondering if this is still necessary for the 2019 sport model and if you had any videos or instructions available before I purchase it. Thank you.

The EcoHitch part # EH78VR is the only 2 inch hitch option available for your 2019 Honda Fit and while we haven't had the chance to shoot an install video I did send you a separate email with a PDF of the install instructions. You will need to do some trimming of the lower fascia to install the hitch.

@RichardM I wish I could but EcoHitch is really weird about posting their instructions online so we aren't able to show them to you. I can assure you this does come with instructions though.
