When installing a hitch on your 2022 Ford Ranger I recommend The etrailer 2 inch Hitch Receiver # e63ZR. It can tow up to 6,000 pounds and has a tongue weight up to 600 pounds. Now always follow your manuals rated towing weight requirements. The hitch has a matte black powder coat finish. The hitch is a simple bolt on installation.

I would also recommend the Curt Starter Towing Kit # C45554 which includes an assortment of hitch products including the ball mount and hitch ball. I would also recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring # 22124 which will activate your vehicle brake lights and make them in unison with your trailer brake lights.
