Troubleshooting Lippert Power Jack that Will Not Lift or Lower
Updated 01/12/2026 | Published 09/05/2024 >
Question:
my Lippert power jack model 1817941 will not lift or lower. The light is on. When I push the up or down button it shorts the light and does not move. Can you suggest a solution and if needed the proper part. Also I am missing the top plug for the unit. Do you sell those seperately? thanks

Hey Jodie, that sounds like an issue with the power supply or ground for the jack. Make sure the wire connections of the jack are attaches solidly to a battery/power source that is properly charged first to rule that out.
