Middle Jack Isn't Working on a Lippert 3.0 LC675817

Question:

Hi, I’m really having a headache because I bought a 2021 Primetime Crusader with the 6 level point. Auto level never work out for me, soy I’m trying to do it manually, but the middle jacks don’t come down when I push RIGHT AND LEFT bottom in the touch panel. Please give me a help with this. Thanks

If both middle jacks are not retracting or extending on your # LC675817, odds are one or more of the fuses is out. There is a fuse for each of the legs and if one of these is bad, it will definitely cause the legs not to work. This can be mounted just about anywhere though, so you will need to contact the trailer manufacturer to see where the fuse panel for this was mounted.

If the fuses all look good, you will need to check to make sure all the connections are solid and not loose in their ports. Each leg has its own plugs and ports and if they are not seated all the way, it will cause a bad connection. This would also cause them not to work.

If neither of these solve the issue, let me know and we can try something else to get it up and running properly.

Lazer, I own a GD 3740BH-R, 6 point lippert leveling system. In Nov all systems worked as expected. Last week, I wanted to start to dewinterize my coach and figured I would start with the landing gear. All systems seemed to function properly except when the mid stabilizers began to deploy. Once the rear hit the ground and acquired the weight of the unit, the mid stabilizers should deploy to the ground, 6 to 8 inches of travel. However, they did not, they did however engage and move about an inch or so. If I press the auto level they will eventually go all the way but they don't aquire the weight of the coach. I have been on the phone with lippert and they are baffled as I am. Any help from you would be amazing! Thanks Shawn

@ShawnS That's definitely odd and I must admit to being quite baffled as well. What you might try checking is the grounds to make sure power isn't acting weird (a bad ground can cause any number of odd occurrences). Aside from that, make sure the jacks can move freely when extended/retracted manually as something could be causing them to bind up and not function properly. If they don't function properly manually, it would be a good idea to replace them. Bit drastic, but I can't really think of any other reason they are acting the way they are.

@ShawnS i own a 2022 GD 3740 BH as well and I'm having the same exact issue. were you able to figure this out? mine started last year then i thought it fixed its self but didn't. any help would be appreciated. thanks, Brian

@LazerS, I will def do some digging. However, both mid jacks do fully extend after lots of auto level, and retract without problem when retract all button is pressed.

I have a Lippert auto level. Battery went dead. Replaced Battery. Now throwing RM error. Middle jacks won't go down. Front and rear work good. Checked all connections and fuses all is good. Does anyone have any input. Thanks

@Anthony If your fuses, connections, and grounds are all looking good, I would try disconnecting the entire system from any kind of power for like 10 to 15 minutes. That will allow ample time for it to rest and (hopefully) clear all the codes and start functioning properly. If it does not, your best bet will be to contact Lippert directly to have them trouble shoot it. Odds are there is something malfunctioning in the control panel (# LC421484) or control module (# LC85ED or # LC304136 depending on if your camper came prepped with the system or not), but these parts are not inexpensive (to put it lightly) and it is a good idea to get the opinion of the manufacturer before just replacing them. An easy cheap fix is always best : )

I have the Lippert ground control 3.0 6 point leveling system on my 2023 Torque 371. After contacting Lippert by phone and email still having the same issues. I will say Lippert is very helpful with their customer service, answer every email and call with helpful assistance. I’ve re-homed the system, reset zero, made sure trailer was as level as I can manually get before deploying the system. That all said and done, this leveling system is terrible. It always goes out of stroke and center legs never deploy. What I’ve learned is to induce an error code by unplugging a front jack, then level front and rear manually. You can deploy 1 front or rear jack front or rear button on and left or right button simultaneously. So, for example, if the left front is low, hold front and left buttons at same time to raise or lower. Then, after leveling front to back and side to side, hold left and right buttons at same time to lower middle jacks. Can’t do middle jacks separately. Lowering middle jacks this way can only be done if there is a fault. That works for me anyway.
