Can Polar Hardware Ramp Door Hinge Be Used On Dump Trailer

Question:
Need hinges for the bed of a 6x9 dump trailer and the hinges that are on it now are similar to PLR1902. I was wanting to make sure those hinges would be appropriate for that application.

Hi Tim; the # PLR1902 can definitely be used on your 6 x 9 dump trailer. They don't have an exact capacity but will be able to handle whatever you're doing. Since they're similar to what you have now that would make them a great fit. The bracket measures 4" long x 2-5/8" wide x 1/4" thick and the pin is 8-3/16" long x 1" diameter. They also have that zerk fitting so they're easy to grease for smooth operation.
