Hello good folks, I have a 2023 Ford Transit Trail with tow package, OEM Ford controllers are not available, do you have any plug n go alternative? Thank you

Hey Todd,

There unfortunately aren't any plug-and-play wire harnesses available for your Transit so you'll have to go with a hardwire option like the Tekonsha P3 # 90195 or go with a wireless option like the Curt Echo # C51180.

The P3 is the better option in my opinion but you'll have to tap into the cold side of the brake light switch and also run a 10 gauge wire back to the brake controller output wire on the 7-way. The brake light switch on Fords are typically a purple and white wire so that will be easy to find and test to confirm. I've attached a short video below going over the P3 that you can check out.

If you want to go with the wireless Echo instead then you'd just download their app and go through the installation process of plugging it in and syncing it to your phone and can then adjust the brake sensitivity. I have had a hard time with the syncing process every time I've used one of these but others have said it connects immediately so it could potentially be a very annoying setup but then be very easy to use.
