Question:
Im looking to buy a 2024 Nissan Frontier SV without tow package. To install a trailer brake controller, do I need to buy and install the harness and relays on the passenger kickplate and floor strip, or is the harness near the rear bumper already set up to add a harness with the 7-pin connector?

If you're buying it without the tow package, Norm, then the wiring is not going to be at the rear. To install a brake controller you're going to first need to add the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118266 which will plug into your factory harness and provide a 7-way to the rear.
From here, you can then add a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller w/ Custom Harness # TK59ER.

Thank you. In the video about connecting the 118266 rear harness with 7 pin connector to a 2022 Frontier's wiring, the installer refers (at about 3:45) to connecting the harness' plugs to the truck's "tow package" plugs. This is on a truck that has no tow package, so i believe he is using the wrong term. Am i right?
