I just got a 2023 Nissan Frontier and I want to add a hitch, 7-way connector, and brake controller. What parts do I need?

To add a hitch to your 2023 Nissan Frontier you are going to want the Curt Trailer Hitch item # 13241. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Frontier with included hardware.

I really like the Curt hitch because it installs behind your rear bumper and the crossbar is completely hidden. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 500 lbs maximum tongue weight. This towing capacity and tongue weight can be increased to 8,000 lbs and 800 lbs when used with a weight distribution system.

For a 7-way connector you will want the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness item # 118266. This harness plugs into your factory connection point behind the driver's-side rear bumper to provide a 7-way connector.

To add a brake controller you will want the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller - Proportional item # RED24FR. This brake controller has a unique installation method where you can mount the control knob on your dash or console and hide the main unit out of sight. This is a proportional brake controller that automatically adjusts your trailer's braking based on the deceleration of your Frontier.

To complete your installalation without cutting or spicing wires you will want the Redarc Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness item # RED39FR. This is a plug in adapter that will allow you to install the Tow-Pro Liberty without cutting or splicing wires.

To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
