Does this suspension change the overall ride height of trailer?

No, not intentionally. The only way the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers item # RM-2460-2570 would increase the ride height is if your current suspension is extremely old and worn out. Even then it won't be more than a 1/2" - 1".

What kind of trailer are you looking to add this set up to? If you could comment below your trailer's year, make, and model I would be happy to confirm the item # RM-2460-2570 is the right kit for you.

41.5 ft alliance paradigm 5th wheel with dexter D70 axles.

@MikeM What year is your Alliance Paradigm? You might need to bump up to the 8,000 lbs capacity system with item # RM-2460-2580 or item # RM-2470-2580, if you have a 3-1/2" diameter axle.

@MikeM Thanks! You will definitely need one of the 8k kits item # RM-2460-2580 for 3" diameter axles or item # RM-2470-2580 for 3-1/2" diameter axles. I recommend verifying whether you have 3" diameter or 3-1/2" axles before ordering. I do not have access to this information or I would look it up for you.
