Replacement Pin Box for a Dexter 221-0006-00 on a 2008 Jayco Eagle 299RLS

Question:
I have a 2008 Jayco Eagle 299 rls. With a Dexter pin box 221-0006-00 and would like to convert to the Reese goose box 16K. Will it fit?

I reached out to my contacts at Dexter Axle and they weren't able to locate any information on this pin box and what could replace it. Since this is the case, I'll need you to check out the linked helpful article on pin boxes. This article shoes how to measure the pin box and mounting holes so we know what pin box profile can be used as a replacement. If you let me know what you end up measuring I'll see if we have anything that works for you!

Hey Greg, were you able to take those measurements from your Dexter pin box? Once you have them, I can help figure out if the Reese Goose Box 16K will match up. Let me know what you find so we can narrow it down.
