Replacement Hydraulic Jack Assembly For 2021 Thor Chateau 31B With Lippert 0238222 Leveling System

Question:

I have a 2021 Thor Chateau 31B that has the Lippert hydraulic system number 0238222 according to Thor parts service. They do not break down the parts and tell me I need to order the whole system. All I need is the right rear cylinder. Your site tells me I need the LC36VR but my overall measurement is 18.75 inches not 19.5 Can you help me find the right cylinder? Thanks, Maggie

Hey Maggie, thanks for reaching out. You’re right to double-check those measurements before ordering anything. The Lippert part # LC36VR is the one most folks end up using on Thor models with system number 0238222, but if your cylinder measures closer to 18.75 inches instead of 19.5, you may need a slightly shorter stroke version. Lippert uses a few different lengths in that hydraulic leveling setup depending on the frame and jack position.

To be sure you get the right one, grab the part number stamped on the cylinder or measure from center to center of the mounting eyes when it’s fully retracted and fully extended. Those two numbers will tell us exactly which one you need.
