I need to replace a Magnatek Series 3200. Model 3240 converter, battery charger The new unit needs to mount in the same manner and position as the old one. It also needs to have the same or near to the same DC circuit landing points and fuses. What do you suggest? The old unit is 40 amp, and Im running lead acid batteries.

Hi Steve,
There unfortunately isn't a replacement converter section for available for your Magnetek 3240 so you'd either need to replace the entire panel with one like the Progressive Dynamics # PD4045KA or use a standalone converter like the Progressive Dynamics # PD924024A.

Hey Steve, how did things go with replacing your old Magnetek 3240 converter? Did the Progressive Dynamics option you chose line up well with your existing panel and wiring? Your update could make it easier for others working on similar upgrades.
