Question:
Hello, I have a 2022 Toyota Highlander AWD with factory installed tow hitch. Im towing a 2480-3500 Casita travel trailer with an Anderson weight distribution hitch. There is some sag on the rear end of the Highlander. What can I do to reduce the sag? Someone suggested air springs, but I dont know anything about them.

Hello again Mary; air bags like the # F2430 you were looking at aren't available for the 2022 Highlander. What you can use instead is the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension # CSS-1145R. These fit in the coils of your springs to add additional support to help reduce the sag you're experiencing.
Realistically a properly setup weight distribution hitch should keep you from sagging. However, the Andersen is pretty bad (I know, I have one) so I'm not surprised you need additional support.

Hey Mary, how did things turn out after adding the Coil SumoSprings to your Highlander? Did they help level out the rear when towing your Casita trailer? Your update could make it easier for others dealing with the same sag issue.
