Hey Gary. I checked the manual for your RVP 8000 unit. If you're sure its getting around a 115 volts then I do agree it sounds like a capacitor has gone bad. Unfortunately I do not have a replacement one for you.

The only thing I have to offer is a replacement AC unit. The RVP 8000 series AC model 8333A871 is effectively a Coleman Mach air conditioner, as RVP is the parent company and owner of the Coleman AC line of products.

To replace yours, I recommend the Furrion Chill Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup item # FR42PV you were looking at. This will plug into your existing wiring and use your old air distribution box, so it's an easier replacement process than having to do all new wiring. These systems are considered to be the quietest and also the coldest blowing units.

Hey Gary, how did things turn out with your RVP 8000 after you looked into the capacitor issue? Did you end up replacing it with the Furrion Chill unit your setup could use? Knowing what worked might help others dealing with the same AC problem.
