Rear Suspension Enhancement Kit that Fits 2024 Toyota Tacoma 4WD

Updated 06/27/2024 | Published 06/24/2024

Question:

I have a 2024 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 pickup. My slide-in camper manufacturer recommends Firestone Airide Ride Rite helper springs. Ive checked your site and you have the springs but only apparently for the 2 wheel drive version of my truck. Ive written to Firestone without getting a reply. Can you folks tell me if the Firestone springs for a 2 wheel drive would also work for 2024 4X4 Tacoma? Thanks.

Hey John, so the 2024 Toyota Tacoma is a new designed truck so they currently only have a 2WD version fit with the part # F2410. For 23' the 4WD fit version is the # F2407 but it hasn't been carried over to the 24' models.

Right now all we have is a Timbren fit with the part # T67KR which will do a great job reducing the sag.

Jameson, I've used things like the Timbren gear and wasn't happy with them. I haven't been happy with airbags either, but since the 2024 Tacomas have coil springs, helper springs aren't available. I thought Firestone airbags might work since they appear to be all that's available, except only for a 2WD. I think I'm gonna go ahead and mount the camper on the truck as it is and see how it performs with a load. If it turns out that the truck still needs help, something for the new Tacomas should be available at some point. I'll check back with you if necessary. Thanks for the assistance. John
