Are Shower Drains With A 2-7/8" Diameter Flange Available

Question:
Hello, I have a Lance 2375 TT that I’ve had shower leak issues pretty much constantly. I’ve removed the drain and reapplied plumbers putty a few times and it works for a while but eventually starts leaking again. I’ve attributed the issue to the size of the cutout in the pan/ the drain can move back and forth in the hole. To address this, I’m looking for a two inch drain with a larger flange approx 2 7/8 in that will sit in the pans recess. This way the recess will prevent the drain from being able to move back and forth thus solving my leak issue. Do you carry two inch drains with up to a 3 inch flange? I can always grind of a little bit for a better fit. Thanks for your help. Sean

Hi Sean,
The drains we offer for a 2" diameter hole max out at a 2-5/8" diameter. You could try looking at your local hardware store to see if they might have an alternative or you could just run a bead of silicone around the outer edge of the drain to fill in the gap in the shower pan recess.
