Trailer Jack Solution for Trailer Tongue that is 6 inch by 3 inch

Question:

Im trying to find a replacement jack to fit a 6 x 3 tongue. Some of the descriptions dont give the dimensions and most seem to max out at 5. Can you direct me to ones that will fit 6.

That is a pretty tall trailer frame but we do have a solution Dan. You could use the part # HD50000101 unless you wanted a swivel option. Then I would go with a weld on style jack like the etrailer # TJD-7000S for a sidewind or the part # TJD-8000 for a top wind.

Or if you wanted something that could swivel you'd want a pipe mount like the part # BD178203.

Forgot to say that it's an aluminum trailer so a carbon steel weld on wouldn't work unless I make some mounting plates to clamp on.

@Dan Hmmm yeah that would probably be best option. What jack did the trailer have on it originally?

It's an Aluma enclosed car hauler. No brand name on the jack but it had a 6" bolt pattern.
