I have a 2024 Suburban RST. I am towing a 2021 GD Imagine XLS 22MLE, which has the Furrion Vision S backup camera. I haven’t noticed any issues and after reading reviews etc., I am wondering if I am missing something and need this connecter and appreciate any feedback. Thanks Bill

Hey Bill,
Newer GM trucks switched to PWM wiring and weren't supplying a constant 12 volts to the camera for it to operate. The 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter for Furrion RV Observation Camera # FR87PR was designed to with a jumper wire from the 12v accessory pin to the running light circuit to provide power to the camera system. If you're using the camera without issue then you won't need the # FR87PR. If you are having connectivity issues then the # FR87PR or splice-in # VGR64VR could solve the issue.
