Question:

So we bought the adapter to get our Furrion backup camera working with the new truck, but now our lights dont always work, turn signals and flashers. But when I plug in without the adapter lights work, have you heard of this issue?

Yes, we have encountered this problem. The relay inside of the 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter w/ Power Switch for Furrion RV Observation Camera # FR87PR isn't showing the same amperage draw that your 2021 GMC Sierra 3500 is used to. This causes the signal to not be sent through the adapter into your trailer. This being intermittent it may be a connection issue too.

We have another option that does not require the constant use of a bulky adapter. It is the 12V PWM Filter for RV Backup Camera Systems - Hardwire item # VGR64VR. This splices into your camera system's wiring and prevents camera dropouts on your RV backup camera system. It works with 2021-2022 Chevy and GM trucks with advanced tow packages.
