Question:

We just purchased a 2020 GMC 3500 HD diesel Denali and find that when hooked to our DRV holiday trailer we have no lights or brakes The truck computer does not recognize the trailer says trailer not connected We believe it has something to do with the lamp out sensor on the truck and the LED lights on the trailer We are looking at your wiring adapters and see C57003 and 20142. Will one of these adapters work with our 2020 GMC Denali

Both of the parts you mentioned, the Trailer Connector Adapter with Lamp-Out Sensor Bypass # 20142 and 7-Way Trailer Adapter # C57003 are universal parts so both will work on your 2020 GMC Sierra 3500.

The Curt 7-way adapter is put in our fit guide as a wiring option for certain vehicles to help those customers find it but it is a universal part so it will fit on your Sierra.

Just purchased a 20142 adapter for my 2019 GMC Sierra, the Furrion FOSO5TADS. The camera has linked with monitor but still no backup view. Tried with different truck and camera works fine. Has there been any reports of faulty adapters?

I suppose the adapter could be faulty but it's not something that we've gotten feedback on. I would make sure the camera itself has a secure connection with its power wire and that it's properly grounded as well.

Thanks for the reply, the camera worked fine with a 2011 Chev 1/2 ton and also with a 2011 Dodge Ram. Is the bottom part of the adapter a switch?

@CorriveauR We are having the exact same issue with our 2019 GMC Sierra and are currently working with Furrion to try to figure it out. We've tried 3 different adapters now (2 Furrion and one off-brand). Hopefully we all find a solution - its very frustrating.
