Installation of Stealth Hitch on 2022 BMW X5

Question:
2022 X5 - For hitch receiver only with no towing package or trailer use and mainly a bike rack - do I need to take all that out line you did in the video?

The installation of the # SH89VR on your 2022 BMW X5 will not be as extensive as our installation video since it includes the wiring harness install. However, it is still a fairly extensive installation that requires removing a lot of parts to access the mounting area.
You can take a look at the installation instructions below to see what the process is like. It runs all the way to the end of page 14 and lets you know to stop and jump to page 26/step 67 since you won't be installing the wiring.

Hi Robin, it has been a minute. If you don’t remember, I’ll understand. Your note says “You can take a look at the installation instructions below to see what the process is like. It runs all the way to the end of page 14 and lets you know to stop and jump to page 26/step 67 since you won't be installing the wiring.” So two things: 1- My car is a 2022 X5 xDrive45e with M Sport Package. I found this: Part Number: SH89VR Confirmed to Fit excluding M Sport package or M models models with M Sport Package So, is SH89VR going to work?? 2- You made reference to pages 14 and 26, but I have not found any PDF or document to follow. I guess your answer to this one hinges on the response to the question of compatibility with the M Sport package. Thanks again. I just got the car in late May and now want to install the hitch. Rick
