Hello Jeffrey. It is possible to use a solar panel to help power your AC unit. The solar panels would serve the purpose of recharging your batteries, and are not used to directly power an AC unit. You would have to have a very large solar panel, along with clear sunny skies in order to generate enough power to run a 13,500 btu AC unit. To properly provide power to your AC you would need an AC/Dc panel like part # PD4045KA, a battery bank (preferably deep cycle), a large solar panel kit like part # 34275012, and access to shore power.

Ok, thank you cause the solar company said not possible at all, I ordered a 12v AC to replace what ai bought from E trailer which is now useless to me... gigantic waste of money to me, I ask both sides if I sent something back (not return), could I get credit (%), and everyone responded with no returns accepted, I understand that part, but I could have gotten a tiny bit back and etrailer could've sold it again and made More money this way but you don't sell 12v AC anyway, ultimately my fault for assuming AC's were all set for RV with low voltage draw in this era, but I have no further questions at this time. JESSE you have been great at getting back to me so thank you, but I believe there could be some changes to policies on your products, I feel the world likes to wash their hands with customers after they've gotten their money. I guess my opinion cause world runs on greed. Thank you again Jesse for all you've done I appreciate it...

Ok, guess I'm gonna lose money cause I can't afford all the extra parts after paying almost 1000 for the ac and 2000 for the solar kit, thru renogy. But thank you for your time, any ideas where people might buy my AC I bought from you cause I installed so return is not possible, but I'm not trying to lose too much.... any info would be appreciated, thank you for your time.
