Inverter Recommendation for Running a Single AC Unit

Question:
I would to no what size inverter I Need to run one ac at night I have 5000W generator The house batteries are two 12 volt golf cart batteris I going to add two more also later of adding solar

Hey Michael, thanks for reaching out!
I recommend using the Progressive Dynamics 2000 Watt Inverter w/ Transfer Switch # PD64FR, but only if you'll be running a single AC unit and nothing else with AC power. According to my research this 2,000 Watt inverter will be able to handle up to a 15K Btu AC unit but that will be pushing the limits which is why you can only run the AC unit.
