Upgrading Demco Autoslide From 18k to 21k

Robin I have decided to trade this trailer for a new one and not deal with the springs. With that I now need a bigger hitch. I currently have an 18K Demco auto slider, which I assume can’t upgrade it to 21K. My plan is to buy the Demo 21K auto slider. I have a 2021 F350 with the prep package. The new trailer had a Curt Rota-Flex pin box. Look

If you want to upgrade your # DM8550024 to the 21k model you can with the Replacement Head and Base Assembly # DM6107. You already have the side plates # DM6033 so there is no reason to purchase them again with the full # DM8550038. The savings isn't huge but every bit helps. Since you have a Rota-Flex on the trailer you will also need the Demco Autoslide Capture Plates for Trailair Rota-Flex Pin Boxes # DM6171.
