are the gears in the Demco Autoslide 21k built heavier than the gears for the 18k Autoslide, also what is the weight difference between the 21K and 18K for a 2020 Chevrolet 3500 truck with OEM Prep? thank you

The gears of the 21k Demco Hijacker # DM8550035 are a bit heavier duty than the 18k capacity version # DM8550034 to allow it to have a higher capacity. The lighter duty hitch weighs 276 lbs and the heavier duty version weighs 308 lbs.
To install this in the rail kit of a 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500 with OEM rail kit you will need the # DM6333.
