Hello Bruce. We do have some instructions for installing the Redarc Tow-Pro Brake Controller # RED63RR. I have linked a few install videos as well as the manufacturer instructions for you below. That said, we do not have any videos or literature showing installation specifically on a Subaru Ascent, but it should still give you a good enough general idea of the process so you can get it done.

Installation on a 2023 Subaru Ascent is going to be very straightforward. A few years back I had the chance to install one on a family members 2019 Ascent. We used the # 3062-P adapter for a plug and play install. It is just a simple matter of mounting the controller and choosing a good location for the control knob.
