Question:

Hi I have a Roadmaster flat tow package on our MH. We need to get the wiring harness for a 2021 Jeep Wrangler with the LED light package option and Park Sense. I have looked at the Roadmaster 152789 kit, but wonder if one of your other manufacturers offers a kit that plugs into the tail lights etc., without cutting and splicing ? We are also interested in 751490. Our current brake actuator is the Roadmaster 9400.

Hey Patrick, so I took a peek and what we have for you and I was able to find the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM39VR which is a custom fitting harness that plugs into your existing wiring without splicing.

As far as the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490 goes, you are going to need that with your Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Flat Tow Brake System # RM-9400 to complete install. You're also going to need the 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps # RM-9332.

Hi Bryce Thank you for the recommendation ! With no disrespect intended, will this harness work with the LED light option & Park Sense ? If I understand correctly from combing the Internet, but although I haven't found the exact reason why, certain manufacturers ie., Roadmaster give "special consideration" [Smart Diodes] to these two options on the Jeep ?

@PatrickB No disrespect taken! I checked with Hopkins and they don't have it listed as being a problem with LED lights so I'll presume that it'll work just fine with it.
