Parts Needed to Use 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Lights When Flat Towing

Question:
I have a 2021 Jeep Rubicon. I use the RVI3 brake system when towing. I ordered brake-lite relay 88400. I don’t think is what I need. The RVI3 brake system does suppress the brake peddle on the Jeep when press hard on the motorhome brake. But when I only tap the brakes the Jeep brake peddle is not suppressed. I want my towed Jeep’s brake lights to work off of the brake lights of the motorhome not only when the Jeep’s brake peddle is depressed.

Hello again Bob; you are correct, you do not need the # RM-88400. Parts like this relay kit are pretty vehicle specific and not part of the flat tow setup for your 2021 Rubicon. What you do need is a wiring kit so your Jeep signal lights work together with your motorhome. If you do not have ParkSense you can use # RM-15267. If you do have ParkSense you need # RM63MR instead.

Thanks for your quick reply. You recommended RM-15267. However, this comes with a coiled cord. I do not need the 7 wire to 6 wire connected or cord. Is there a diode kit available?
