Question:

I have a Mitsubishi Montero 2001 that your website said will no drilling needed. According to my unit I need Part number 13800, but when I check my unit just found 2 holes in each side with only 1 nut in es side. How can I install the part without drilling?

Hello Anibal. I think I might have misunderstood your previous question. The Curt Class 3 Hitch # C13800 is indeed a no-drill installation. There should be 3 holes in the driver side frame rail and two holes on the passenger side. All 5 holes should have a factory installed weldnut inside. I have included a diagram below that shows the location of each hole.

It sounds like the factory weldnuts are not there though. If the factory weldnuts are no longer present you can either pay to have a shop install new weld nuts for you, or you can use the spacer block/fish wire method. This involves using a fish wire like part # 80101-1 and a carriage bolt and spacer block like # RP3022 inside the frame. We made a video which goes over this process in detail, and I have provided a link to this video below.
