This Curt hitch gives your vehicle real utility without the need for major upgrades. Great quality, looks great, pretty easy installation. Highly recommend! E-Trailer did a nice job providing instructions. Took about an hour on my 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.
Product was delivered quickly, within three days of order placement. It arrived in good condition, though one end of the hitch had worn through the cardboard box during transit. The hitch was not damaged as a result. Installation was easily completed within 45 minutes without assistance.
Other than the scratch on the front of the hitch from careless shipping UPS, the installation was very easy and without a hitch, (pun intended). I fixed the scratch with glossy spray paint.

At 79 years old I put this on the vehicle by myself, very easy installation with excellent instructions.
Overall very pleased with my purchase. Tow hitch is of very good quality and hardware was nice as well. Instructions and video made it very easy to put on and only took about 30 mins. Only complaint is packing could’ve been slightly better but other then that very happy with it!
This hitch is a perfect fit on my outlander sport. Took about 15 minutes to install including prep. I got this hitch to use with a bike rack. The other reason I got it, is because it looks great on the car. Gives it an aggressive and clean look.
Hitch was Easy to install. YouTube videos helped. One thing that gave me a problem was the nut to screw into weld hole. It took quite a bit of persuading but it worked.
The bike rack was very simple and works great.

Perfect fit for my 2022 Outlander Sport. The install took about 30 mins in my driveway with basic sockets. I watched the video on the install and it bolted on exactly how the video showed. The hitch receiver sits flush with the number for a clean looking install.
This is the second Curt trailer hitch that I've purchased from etrailer. The trailer hitch is great. Solid welds and great coating on the metal. I am so happy with my trailer hitch receiver from Curt. It fits perfectly into my 2025 Outlander Sport LE. With the right tools is an easy DIY process to install. 30 to 40 minutes tops. Can't wait to carry my kid's bike to school and mount my cargo carrier for future roadtrips. And as a bonus, this trailer hitch receiver gives a cool aesthetic look to my Outlander Sport LE ^_^

Excellent company! I needed a hitch to tow a trailer very quickly due to an emergency. I was going to get one from uhaul, but they had a huge wait time, and 135$ installation fee. I searched their product, and searching for Curt brought me to etrailer. I did the install alone in my carport, no special lifts, and only a few tools are needed which I had in the garage. I also bought the wiring harness, and ball, total installation time for me was 1 hr. This thing is super solid, welds are perfect, and I have no hesitation to tow a small trailer 2000 miles. It’s going to be great for a cargo rack and bike rack when I’m ready. I paid extra for two day shipping, a bit expensive, but I needed it fast. It was here in 24 hours, and fit perfect and I have nothing to say but, choose etrailer!
Before I start this review let me share that like every personal experience this one start with a sour beginnings but @ the end came to a very satisfactory conclusion. Thanks to a excellent customer service and personalized experience beyond words to make it right. For the item purchase from E trailer corporation ( curt hitch ) what can I say perfect fit for my vehicle fast delivery a breeze to install literally takes less than 30 min. If you wonder that I recommen this product ? The answer is YES! Excellent fitment, but installation was made tough by the fact that my wife’s car is 10 years old, so I needed to spend more time making sure the mounting holes and weld nuts on the chassis were CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!!
The installation video briefly mentions shooting penetrating oil into the chassis weld nuts. My advice is to also make sure the M10 x 1.25mm hex bolts thread into the weld nuts easily before even lifting the hitch into place. Make liberal use of penetrating oil and a 3/8” steel or brass bore brush to ensure those threads are thoroughly cleaned out and ready—you’ll thank me later.
Once you have the hitch suspended by the four carriage bolts, hand-tighten the nuts and install the hex bolts with cupped washers. THEN tighten everything down. There’s a little slop built into the hitch design, so you’ll want to make sure the hex bolts thread into the chassis without interference from the hitch.

I was convinced by the many reviews submitted and the great instructions and video on the website to get this hitch. The initial installation was a breeze but my progress ground to a long slog trying to tighten the bolts. Certainly not the hitches fault.... the amount of space to successfully tighten the bolts in the Outlander sport made it extremely difficult. They certainly crammed in a lot of material in the area. Admittedly, I didn't have advanced tools that could let me get into those nooks and cranny's but it went from 15 minutes to about an hour and a half. In the end, I managed to tighten the bolts and OMG this thing looks perfect. Looks like it's stock. The material and paint job are top notch and super high quality, especially for the price. Thank you Etrailer!!!! Great product and most importantly great intruction materials and video!

Fit perfectly on 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. However, did have to temporarily remove the charcoal canister. Very limited space to work on this and get it in. Pays if you have tiny fingers/hands/arms and long socket extensions.
This hitch is as stout as the one I got from you for my 2014 Outlander. Got the new Sport last Tuesday and had the new hitch on Saturday evening! Fast delivery and good instructions. I installed it myself without raising the car. Found putting in the 2 smaller bolts first made it easier to attach the 4 1/2” side bolts. Will use to attach a bike rack and cargo carrier. Need to see if the Outlander Sport can haul a small trailer like the Outlander did.
