Question:

I am looking for a trailer hitch kit for my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe limited ultimate. I wont be towing anything heavy. Its just for a light trailer for hauling bbq equipment and other household items. What trailer hitch assembly do you recommend to fit my vehicle? Thank you!

Robert, I recommend checking out the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13153. This hitch has a 2" x 2" receiver opening, a max towing capacity of 6,000 lbs and a 900 lb tongue weight capacity.

It might seem like overkill for what you're doing, but It's always good to have a hitch with the range to do whatever you want even if you don't end up doing it. You never know, you might change your mind in a year and want to start hauling heavier stuff.

Also since you're towing a small trailer you are going to need to add a wiring harness with # C56184 if you don't have one already.
