This hitch gives you the utility to haul a lot more than what fits inside your vehicle. The 2" x 2" receiver opening fits most bike racks, cargo carriers, and ball mounts, so you can bring along a couple of bikes for a weekend ride or attach a storage basket for extra gear. With a 6,000-lb maximum gross trailer weight and 900-lb tongue weight (up to 8,000 lbs GTW and 900 lbs TW when used with weight distribution), it’s built for small campers, boats, or light utility trailers without feeling like you’re pushing the limit.
You don’t need a lift or special tools to get this hitch mounted. It bolts directly to the frame using existing holes—no drilling or welding required. The complete hardware kit and installation instructions come in the box so you can get it done in the driveway with common sockets. Once installed, the concealed cross tube keeps the setup neat and out of sight behind the bumper.
A sturdy, square-tube construction and precision robotic welds give this hitch reliable strength for towing and everyday use. The gloss black powder coat finish is layered over a protective base coat to fight rust and corrosion from road salt or rain. Great product! Very easy to install. I never have enough room for stuff on long trips so I bought ithe hitch and a flat cargo carrier as well. It took 90 minutes to have them both ready to go! If it won"t fit now, we have too much stuff!

Fast shipping , exact item that was pictured on the website . Thick packaging and hitch was protected and well secured in the box (unlike the hitches I’ve ordered past from other stores). Solid built and fits SantaFe perfectly. The instructions are well defined. It does take two people to mount in place. Very difficult to get the verticle plate bolts to start threads.
My wife and I just finished installing the Curt trailer hitch on my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. It's great to have a partner that likes to get involved in fun projects like this. I also used the Curt wiring harrnes that was specified for my car. WOW it was so easy just like all the reviews testified. We are both very pleasd with the product and most of all the CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was a former Wood shop instructor at our local high school. For 37 years I emphasized attitude, respect, responsibilty and customer service. Every staff member that I talked to was polite, respectful and knowledeable. What a refreshing experince. I have allready told many of my friends about my experience and fell good about directing them to etrailer. I will be buying my wife a 2017 Hyundai Tuson. Not sure that I can say any more than everyone else has. Ordering was a snap, shipping was lightning fast, and installation was a breeze. I installed it on my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited in 22 minutes by myself. The videos were 100% correct and very helpful. On a scale of 1-10, this whole process was easily a 10.
Very impressed. Fast delivery and easy installation. I purchased the trailer hitch, wiring harness and the two brackets to mount the plug on the hitch and everything fit perfectly. I watched a video or two before starting and all went smoothly.

Etrailer is the only place that offered the hitch and information that I needed. The install was as easy as they said it would be and the hitch fit perfect. I will forever only use etrailer to get accessories for my car. Wish y'all delt with car parts I'd use y'all exclusively for those too. Awesome company guys!!!! This product fits like a glove! I installed it with no issues on my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. Just make sure you have a second pair of hands to align the hitch as it is too heavy for one person while attempting to insert the bolts into the holes. I also love the fact that the hitch can be concealed with the factory rear bumper cover. See pics attached.

I had been searching for a few years for the right hitch receiver at an affordable price when I stumbled upon the etrailer.com website. The site was easy to use and search for what I wanted and needed. After a couple of months of contemplating in purchasing this product from the sight, I did my due diligence and searched other sites for the correct product fit that met my needs and cost. The other sites couldn't match the price and product availability. In addition, the DIY videos on the etrailer.com site gave me the confidence to complete the install. From installing the hitch receiver to the connection of the 4-pole wiring kit(hint: if you're vehicle has the prewiring for towing, they have the custom kits to match). The install in total took me about 45 minutes (it helps to have the right tools as well) from prep to finish. Now that I have the capability to tow, I'm going to be able to save on the cost of rentals and now I am even looking at getting a family camping trailer, since our Santa Fe model can tow a good size one. Purchased this hitch for my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. Price was excellent on etrailer.com. Installation took me over an hour. It was the first time I installed a hitch and used a torque wrench. Getting the bolts to the specified torque is what took me the longest due to inexperience and working without a lift. Save money on the installation and do it yourself you will be happy with the end result.
The trailer hitch and all its components I just purchased for my 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe XL V6 came just as expected for delivery. The installation guide was easy to follow and I was able to get it installed without any problem. The wire harness was plug n play besides running the power wire to the battery which was not very difficult. Thank you for this amazing product, it’ll be used for years to come.!
Firstly etrailer.com rocked with delivery and the trailer hitch showed up in 3 days with free shipping. The directions provided were flawless, down to the bending of the bumper pin and installation took me about 15 minutes. The torque wrench tightening took as long, but the hitch is in place, looks great and as if part of OEM. The hitch feels SOLID. The fascia could fit back on, but the hitch will be in use shortly. Added a hitch to our new car (the dealer wanted $600 installed) for mostly use with bike racks.
All in all an outstanding experience.
Thank God for this hitch looks good and tucks under car bought for my trailer and cargo carrier and when not using it I'm able to put stock car cover over it to hide hitch and plug ins..

This thing is Heavy Duty! Solid as a rock. And fit like a glove.
As advertised. fits exactly to my 2014 Santa Fe Limited (ignoring the spray on rust proofing in the tapped holes in the frame rails which isn't Curt's or e-trailers fault). Still have to install the wiring harness which is a job for tomorrow, but since my car has the factory trailer wiring hook up, all I need to do is pull some covers, plug in the wiring harness and route it to the hitch behind the bumper cover.
I am so happy with my purchase and will definitely recommend etrailer. I was going to have a hitch dealer put one on my 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe, they wanted over $500.
