I have a f350 and the hitch opening is 2 1/2 I like the extension hitch but what do I need to make it work

You need a 3" hitch to use the TorkLift Cannon Hitch Extension item # TLE1636. The best and really only option for a 2-1/2" receiver is the Curt Hitch Extension and Reducer for 2-1/2" Trailer Hitches item # C45048.

How about chains for the swaying??

@Jerred The Curt item # C45048 has safety chain loops for connecting to a trailer but does not include them. You will need two additional safety chains like item # TCTSCG30-730-04x1 with quick links item # TCQL531 to go between the rear safety chain loops and the trailer hitch receiver on your Ford truck.
