Hello David, I can definitely point you in the right direction. The Lippert 5,200 lb axles will use the standard 12" x 2" brake assemblies. For that I recommend the etrailer Rust-Resistant Electric Trailer Brakes # AKEBRK-7-D. This comes with a pair of Dacromet coasted electric brake assemblies.

As far as the hubs, it is not quite so cut and dry. The 5,200 lb axles generally use a # 25580 inner bearing and a # 15123 outer bearing. Given that your axle is almost 20 years old, it may not necessarily use these standard sizes.

Your best bet will be to pull a hub and remove the bearings. Each bearing should have a number stamped on the edge, or you can always measure the bearings to confirm the sizing. If your trailer does use the # 25580 inner and # 15123 outer bearings, you can use the following for the hub:

- Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 5.2K & 6K Axles - 12" - 6 on 5-1/2 - Pre-Greased # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K

This will come with all of the bearings, seals, races, lug nuts and a grease cap. If you find that your trailer requires a different bearing combination, feel free to send me those sizes and I am happy to make a recommendation.

Jesse thanks for the info. I’m finally getting around to redoing the bearings and brakes.I want to order the whole hub assembly akhd 655-6-ez-k but I’m finding that the actual outer bearing is a lm67048 instead of the 15123 and the actual inner bearing is 25580 which is the same bearing that akhd 655-6-ez-k comes with. Can I use the akhd 655-6-ez-k or is there a different hub I could order. Thanks

@DaveW Did you happen to measure the seal from your hub? The # AKHD-655-6-K hub may still work, but given the # LM67048 outer and the # 25580 inner bearing, there are still 2 possible seal sizes and I want to be sure you get the right one. The seal is going to have a 3.376" OD, but the ID could be either 2.125" or 2.25". If you can clean up the old seal you might be able to find a number on it that we can use to cross reference. Otherwise you can measure the ID of the seal or measure the part of the spindle the seal rides on. If you seal is the 2.125 ID you will need part # 8-201-5UC3-EZ. If it is the 2.25" seal you can use the # AKHD-655-6-K that you mentioned. Or, you could just get the # AKHD-655-6-K hubs and order a few spare # GS-2125DL seals. That way you are guaranteed to have what you need. Let me know if you have any other questions.
