Do Westlake ST235/75R15 CR857 Tires Need Changed at 10,000 Miles If They Still Look Good

Question:
I have a 2021 Forest River Ibex with Westlake ST235/75R15 CR857 tires. What is the expected mileage for these tires. I currently have about 10,000 miles on them. They look good with very little wear and now signs of any damage. I am going on another trip of about 7,000 miles. Should they be replaced before we go?

Trailer tires have a lifespan of 5-6 years or 10,000-12,000 miles - whichever comes first. If you were going on a shorter trip I would say you can stretch them out a little more, but since you're almost doubling up their mileage and they are that close to the end of their lifespan I highly recommend replacing them so you can enjoy your trip without constantly thinking about and checking on the tires.
