Question:

2007 nissan xterra WITHOUT FACTORY TWO PACKAGE. I need a 7 way plug set up. i want to wire it up like it came with the factory two package. this is what i ed : #118263 and #C56226 Is this what i need? THANK YOU

I hope I am fully understanding that you want to have both a 4-way and 7-way on the back of your 2007 Nissan Xterra. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56226 is the correct harness to give you a 7-way, but the Replacement Harness # 118263 is for the Tekonsha and will not fit with the Curt already connected. Instead you should get the Curt and replace the end with the Multi-Connector # HM40950 which will plug right in place of the Curt 7-way and you will have both the 7-way and 4-way in one unit.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I will be towing a custom food cart single axle with electric brakes. The brake controller I was looking at is the red24fr. It's in the dash (factory location), will that work? Your thoughts on this, or do you recommend something else for the brake controller?

@JasonH Thank you for the clarification and sorry it took me so long to get back to you. We stopped receiving our comments so we weren't getting these. You can install the Redarc Liberty # RED24FR with the Plug and Play Harness # RED39FR. These will work with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56226. I hope this clears things up for you.
