Question:

Does Xtreme sell a drill socket to adapt to their crank so I can use my drill? I own the Xtreme Off-Road Swing-Up Trailer Jack w/ Dual Wheels - Sidewind and I bought from etrailer their Ark XO Down Corner RV Stabilizer Jacks last fall. The stabilizers came with a 1/2inch socket for this purpose and I thought that the tongue could have a similar adapter for my drill. The Tongue would be a kind of funky specialized adapter a couple of parallel flats on a round. Thanks! Kevin

Hey Kevin, so unfortunately Ark does not make a drill adapter for the Xtreme Off-Road Swing-Up Trailer Jacks like your # ORJW350D. The only option would be to have something fabricated to fit, in which case the socket would need to be shaped something like the picture below with two flats on either side of a circle. Like you said, the jack would require a pretty unique shaped socket, which means that none of the other drill adapters we carry are going to work.

Thanks Jesse! Because you were so very thorough describing the shape required, I thought to add some details I received from Ark's US sales. Josh there told me that the impact driver or rattle gun delivers more force to the gearing than it is designed to withstand as it is designed around manual hand turning operation. I did create an adapter for my drill what won't hammer on the gears. I used a TEKTON 1/2 Inch Drive x 3/8 Inch Deep 6-Point Socket from Amazon with a PITTSBURGH Square Drive Socket Caps, 3 Piece from Harbor Freight. I cut the hex socket to create the flats and then use a sleeve to create round. I will be able to use the same adapter that came with my jack stands on the tongue now.

@KevinT Oh hey that's awesome. Thanks for taking the time to share. I feel like as long as you don't use an impact drill and you keep your drill on the lowest setting possible it should be fine. I am glad to hear you were able to make something work. I almost suggested that you buy an extra handle and modify it, but it sounds like you've got things under control.
