Features to know about

Built for Rough Ground: Dual Rubber Tires Go Where Plastic Wheels Can’t

Soft sand, gravel driveways, and muddy campsites don’t stand a chance against the Ark Xtreme Off-Road Tube Mount Swivel Trailer Jack. The dual 8" diameter by 2" wide rubber tires keep traction when the ground gets loose, rolling smoothly over uneven surfaces without flat spots or drag. Sealed bearings help the wheels stay in line and prevent wobble over time. Whether you’re pushing the trailer into storage or hitching up on a slope, the tread and stability of this setup make it easy.

Less Cranking, More Doing: Quick Drop Tube and Sidewind Handle

Nobody wants to waste time spinning a jack endlessly just to reach the ground. The Ark Xtreme’s quick-release handle drops the jack tube fast into one of four positions, cutting down the amount of cranking needed. The magnetic removable crank handle attaches solidly to the jack and stores out of the way when not in use. With 10" of screw travel and 7-11/16" of drop leg travel for a total lift of 17-11/16", you get the reach you need without the struggle.

Stays Solid and Quiet: Heavy-Duty Construction That Doesn’t Rattle

The square steel body on this jack limits play between the tubes and increases side-load strength. Precision-machined fittings and anti-rattle pins keep it steady during operation or travel. It’s built to handle 1,650 lbs static load and 1,100 lbs dynamic load, so you can move and lift with confidence. The zinc finish and black powder coat provide corrosion resistance with a 600-hour salt spray rating, and a built-in grease zerk keeps the internal screw running smoothly.

Packs Up Clean: Swivel and Removable Design for Easy Storage

When it’s time to roll out, just pull the pin to swivel the jack parallel with the tongue or remove it entirely. The reinforced tube-mount bracket bolts around trailer frames 3" to 6" tall, and it’s compatible with most 2-1/2" outer diameter tube mounts already welded in place. The five-position yoke lock holds the wheels where you want them—upright for ground clearance or tucked down for storage. For extra peace of mind, you can use a 5/8" hitch pin lock (sold separately) to secure the jack.

Made to Last Through Real Use: Designed for the Outback, Ready for Anywhere

This jack was built tough to handle off-road use and years of weather. The premium materials and finish keep rust at bay, and the sturdy square design resists bending and chatter. Reviewers who’ve used it long-term say it’s smooth, stable, and far stronger than cheaper jacks they’ve owned. It’s the kind of gear that feels solid from the first turn of the handle—made for real work, not just the driveway.

Solid product. Worth spending the money to get a great Jack versus the cheap ones that are out there.

by:

Very sturdy and smooth function. MUCH better than the previous two competitors products. Glad I found this one

by:

I really am impressed with the quality and durability! Made in the USA is huge for me and I highly recommend this jack.

by:

This is a rugged product that allows me to move my teardrop trailer around on flat ground.

by:

This Jack is exactly what I needed. Great product. Shipping was fast.

by:

Heavy Duty. Better than the 500 which failed to hold up due to the latch on rough roads and can't be removed from trailer. Like that I can remove from off road trailer and store in truck and easily reinstall.

by:

Great product. Great customer service follow up. They actually waited a year to ask me to review. Will buy from them again!

by:

This is the 3rd one I purchased. The company still included bolts that are too short. All 3 trailers I have put the on take 4.5” bolts so I had to go buy new bolts. Trailers must be different where these are mfg. This new model has changed how you rotate the wheels up. I am not sure if I prefer the old release or the new one but the new release makes the unit easier to install.

by:

One year after my purchase of an Ark hitch jack for my overland camper Ii am happy to report that everything is performing perfectly.

by:

This thing is really heavy. I would have been worried about the added tongue weight, but something else made that moot. The company that made the trailer put the VIN sticker right where this thing needs to go, and I was worried about the clamping force and accidental slippage causing damage to the sticker. So this thing just takes up space in my garage.

by:

The welds on Both pins that connect the wheel assembly to the clamp cracked and the pins bent…..on a 3500 lb trailer…..thought I bought heavy duty. Now I cannot put wheel down without trying to put pins in place - which, of course, weakens them. I don’t expect they’ll last - looking to get someone to weld them again, but the placement needs to be perfect. Very disappointed.

by:

Replaced my stock jack after I, ahem, sorta ruined it. But, boy am I glad I got this one. So much sturdier and easier to use. It was an unfortunate-fortunate accident that ruined my stock jack. This one really does a great job and is just easier to raise and lower our overland trailer. At first I wasn’t sure I was going to like the removable (magnetic) cranking handle, but I actually like it more than a permanently affixed one. For one thing, it does make it a little harder for someone if they wanted to try and steal the trailer. Of course a lock helps with that as well, but it’s just one more deterrent.

by:

I’ve loved the product so far. A year later it still feels and performs like a high quality piece of equipment.

I can’t tell you how much easier life is moving this 5,000 lb trailer. I can move it with a golf cart now. You know it is high quality from the moment you pick it up - it’s heavy. The disconnect feature is convenient. It slightly misaligns to my trailer frame, but some shims solved the issue. Glad I got a reminder to rate this product… excellent purchase.

by:

Very sturdy and makes it easy to move our Patriot Camper Gen 2 X3 around in camp or in the garage. Infinitely better than the cheap one Patriot provided with the camper.Very well made trailer jack. Worth the price

I am very impressed and satisfied with it. the quality of the jack and ease of use

Excellent, very well built

by:

this is my 2nd XO jack that has failed on me. The 2 pins that prevent the jack from rotating have small spot welds that broke. This failure would allow the jack to collapse. Why they do not have proper full welds is unclear to me given the cost of this product. They offered to RMA it but at my expense to ship back to them which was far more expensive than having a local welder fix it.

I reached out to ARK about the concerns with the jack. What I found is that the spot welds that you are seeing will not affect the integrity of the jack. The pins that are spot welded on only assist to keep the trailer jack from tilting slightly. The jack will function normally without the pins. The main way that the jack is secured is the central tube that carries all the weight and had a weld process that covers the entire 360 degree tube to the bracket.

by:

Very solid product. Installation was easy. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but I got a strong feeling it’s gonna be great.

I have a tandem axle ALUMA trailer. The trailer is lightweight and can be moved without a vehicle. This jack allows me to move the trailer into storage, or align it behind my vehicle. The jack is easy to install and very sturdy. Excellent product. Worth every penny. LOVE IT.

  • Does the Ark Heavy-Duty Swing Up Trailer Jack ARK79FR Come w/a Mounting Bracket and Hardware?
Hey Steven! The Ark Heavy-Duty Swing Up Trailer Jack item # ARK79FR does not come with mounting hardware or a backing plate to attach it to a trailer tongue and we do not carry those parts either. We do have the Ark Xtreme Off-Road Tube Mount Swivel Trailer Jack- Sidewind item # ARK57FR that includes the mounting hardware and backing plates. This jack has a higher capacity at 1,650 lbs and has a 18" lift. If you have any additional questions feel free to throw them into the comment box below.

  • Is There a Difference Between the Ark Xtreme Off Road Sidewind Jacks ORJW750D and ARK57FR
Hey Keith, actually there isn't any difference between the two part numbers. Our part number is the part # ARK57FR but we also carry it as the manufacturer part number # ORJW750D for some reason. I'd say order whichever has the better price but it looks like they are both the same haha. It does look like the # ARK57FR comes with more brackets whereas the other one bolts to the frame directly.

Hey Justin, welcome back! I can help with that. For the Ark Jacks # ORJW750BD and # ORJW750D, the only difference between the two is the color. The BD is black and the D is silver. Aside from the finish they are the same 1,650 lb capacity 18" lift dual wheel off-road jack. The same goes for the # ARK57FR and # ARK47FR. The only difference is the color/coating. The 57 is a silver zinc coating and the 47 is a black powder coat. The zinc coating is more suited for marine applications...

  • What Arc Wheeled Jack will Replace My Current TJD-8000S Jack on My Teardrop Trailer?
Hello David, When picking out the right jack, the weight is off the tongue weight and not the actual weight of the trailer. I am not sure what teardrop trailer you have, but when I look up the maximum loaded weight for a teardrop camper it is listed at 3,000 pounds. When your trailer is fully loaded, you want your tongue weight to be 10-15% of your overall weight (this means you have things packed in there correctly, which really helps when it comes to safe towing and sway), max tongue...
