When you’re trying to move a loaded trailer by hand or position it on uneven ground, plastic caster wheels can dig in or jam. The Ark Xtreme Off-Road Swivel Trailer Jack uses dual 8" steel wheels with flat-free rubber tires that roll smoothly through gravel, dirt, and sand. The treaded surface keeps grip on loose terrain, and sealed bearings keep the wheels in line, preventing wobble or drag over time. With a 1,650 lb lift capacity and 1,100 lb dynamic load rating, it’s built to handle real use on rugged ground without stalling or flexing.

Getting your trailer level shouldn’t take forever. The Ark Xtreme’s quick-release tube lets you drop the jack into one of four positions before you ever start cranking. With 10" of screw travel plus 7-11/16" of drop leg travel, you get a total lift of 17-11/16"—enough to handle slopes or tall couplers with ease. You’ll spend less time spinning the handle and more time setting up camp or loading gear.

This jack doesn’t twist or rattle when loaded. The square steel body provides excellent side-load strength, and the precision-machined tubing limits play between the sections for smooth, solid motion. The built-in grease zerk makes it easy to lubricate the internal screw, so operation stays smooth even after years of use. Every part feels tight and deliberate, from the handle to the rotating mount.
Rain, salt, and road grime can destroy lesser jacks, but this one is built to fight back. The black powder coat finish has a 600-hour salt spray rating, and the internal components use zinc plating to keep rust away. Whether you’re storing near the coast or rolling through storms, the finish holds up and keeps the jack looking and working like new.
When you’re ready to travel, pull the pin and swing the jack up parallel to the tongue or remove it completely for storage. The pipe-mount design uses a 5/8" pin to lock securely in place, and the wheel yoke has five locking positions to keep the tires from swinging. The magnetic hand crank pops off for storage and won’t rattle loose on the road. It’s simple, solid, and designed with real-world travel in mind.

too short.
Just one word for this product, "awesom e."
Excellent product… So much easier to use than the one I replaced.
High quality item - is perfect for our trailer
Sturdy construction. Perfect fit on my extreme off-road trailer.
I am grateful for your service Melissa, George & the many others who helped make my order experience go smooth, get fast knowledgeable help & service!
Have a great day & future!
God Bless!
I always use the lawn mower to put the trailer back yard behind the shed. The couple times a year the lawn mower goes to the shop, this let me move it fairly easy through the gravel!
As advertised.
Heavy duty.
It would be nice if the supplied bolts were long enough to mount the plate that attaches to the trailer.
So, off to Ace Hardware in the morning.
As always, the Folks at E Trailer are the best.
Extraordinary customer service and knowledgeable.
Success. I wanted to replace a flimsy trailer jack on my off road trailer and was excited to see the reviews of this jack. I was looking for strength and toughness first and foremost and boy does this deliver! The pictures and videos don't do it justice. Until you see this in person and give it a heft - it's burly! I went for the tube mount version as I was hoping it would work with my existing tube. That wasn't the case as the pin and holes are larger than what I had. Fortunately, the mounting plate saved the day and I was able to position it further down my tongue and still have clearance to swing it up. Well done ARK for having the tube mount be reversible so there is a high/low position depending on what works for your setup. Great piece of kit!
I think the ARK trailer jack is great, bullet-proof product, but the documentation stinks. Don't try to put the wheels and bearing and washers together without some kind of sticky grease handy. Figuring out the installation schematics was an adventure. When using the drop handle, watch out for pinched fingers. In fact, wear gloves when operating.
it was great I just wish the bolts that it comes with were a little longer. Hanging by a thread! (literally)
Good overall. At full extension there’s a bend that occurs which is concerning, but aside from that it was a major upgrade from the jack that came with my smittybilt scout.
E-trailer made the it easy to decide on this product after watching their videos. Put this jack on a steel 12 foot Dimond C utility trailer. It’s heavy and a pain to move around and store. This jack makes all the difference in the world to my back. Quality made and functions real smooth. Well with the price!!
Nice and sturdy Jack. Makes moving the trailer a breeze
Great sturdy unit. Well made and will work as advertised. Bolts to attach it to the trailer frame were much to short, only 3" in length, so with those will only fit frames of 2" width allowing for side plates, etc.
This is probably one of the best trailer wheels you can purchase. We've pushed a trailer loaded with a side by side over gravel, through mud, snow and any conditions you could throw at it. It performed flawless and was a life saver.
If you need the best wheel on the market for your trailer, this is it. It will not disappoint.
The only draw back is, I wish the wheel did not pull off the mount. We hook and unhook the trailer about 10 times a day, if you are in a hurry to flip the wheel up it can fall on your toes. Just be careful if you are in a rush.
Love the fact that the wheel locks with the pin and you can remove the handle to keep someone from rolling your loaded trailer forward if you put the wheel side ways and all the way down.
Great purchase, Heavy duty, and everything that I expected.
Quick shipping and great customer service from Etrailer.
Great product however there are things that need to be considered before purchasing.
After reading the other comments from those who bought this jack prior to making the purchase, I had an understanding that there may be some concerns that may affect your installation with your set up.
Make no mistake that this off road jack is heavy in weight due to its quality and how rugged it is in appearance.
The jack also included an instruction booklet (which was not detailed nor elaborate), the lug screws and nuts, and it's "Tube Mount Bracket" which is the key item for the installation.
The screws/bolts that were provided did not work in my installation due to that the Ark jack hardware is meant for a slimmer Installation profile like for a 2" x 2" inch frame (Refer to both the comments on etrailer and on the Ark industries websites).
I took my tube mount bracket to a local machine shop where they had to weld on pieces of metal that will contour/cover the frame application which was 3" inches by 3" inches in size. Ark does not sell nor they could not help me with this circumstance after contacting them via email.
The machine shop technician centered the welds so that the bracket can fit snug and secured on the frame for best installation. I also sprayed Rustoleum on the welded pieces for preventing any rust.
I had to purchase 4 new screws and locking nuts (marine grade) which was not cheap at all. I had to purchase the 3" 1/4 length screws to make the installation work as best as possible.
I recommend also applying anti-galling/ anti-stripping compound. The majority of marine screws and nuts are known to strip or have "thread galling" take place otherwise I recommend spraying a lubricant on the threads and put them in a plastic bag for overnight saturation, then wipe them gently to allow some residue to remain.
After I installed the new screws and locking nuts, the installation was successful. The reason for this process is for any event that you would need to remove or move the bracket tube from the trailer's frame.
After I installed the bracket tube with its modified alteration, the installation was successful however keep in mind that any altering of the jack or parts; voids it's warranty.
I have been using the jack without any issues. I choose to remove the jack when traveling to have peace of mind because there may be moments that the bracket may strike or impact elements when traveling off-road or driving on a road where the path is declined or inclined while traveling (Like a steep hill).
I have the ease to push a 4'000 lbs compact camping trailer within the garage and it's great to position your camper where you want to place it whereas you would be unable to maneuver with a vehicle.
Also there have been occasions where I'm off the grid or at a campground where I unhook the camper and utilized the Ark jack to move the camper by hand in a spot where it could have been difficult to position with a vehicle.
By far the Ark jack is a good buy however there are some factors that you may need to take in consideration.
Best regards.
WoW. Talk about fast shipping! I ordered my parts and they came halfway across the country in just two days! and that was with the Free shipping! Hats off to ETrailer!
My trailer is all black so this thing looks amazing. Been using the X0750 for several years and love them!!
Good unit. The only feedback is that it could have a little more full lift, givne it's built for off road. Not a huge knock, as it's advertised as the 18" in the description, but that can be tight when unloading the offroad camper back into my shop where the truck is on a slope entering the shop.
The unit performs very well for our camping trips, and when idle for winter, i store the tongue on a jack in the shop, as there is no reason to load this for 5 months of idle trailer season.
We used this jack on our off-road trailer adventure. I could not asked for anything more. I have used other jacks, and they were not up to the challenge. So far, this one is the strongest. Worth every penny.

That's a fantastic shot you got, Derek! Are those the White Sands in New Mexico by chance?

Its still working well however with its wear and tear, I did have to have one of the center attachment piece nipple to be welded as it got loose and caused concern. I contact a representative from Ark industries at the 2025 Flagstaff, AZ Overland Expo and brought this concern to their attention. The representative seemed concern and I explained to him with great detail about the challenges I had to resolve. They were receptive and mentioned they were going to review their product and nothing further was discussed. So far this jack has served me well for its usage.
