Question:
I am looking to purchase a weight distribution hitch. My tow vehicle is a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan GT and my first trailer is a utility trailer with a 3500lb axle and unknown tongue weight. The other trailer is a 6x12 cargo trailer with a 3500lb axle. What would be a good WDH for these combinations? Thanks Eric

Tongue weight is typically between 10% and 15% of your trailer's total weight so two 3,500 lbs trailers would have a tongue weight range of 350 lbs to 525 lbs. With this in mind, I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion item # FA92-00-0600.
The Fastway item # FA92-00-0600 has built in sway control that will keep your trailer in line with your van when you are going down the highway and get passed by a semi or make a sudden move. It works with trailers that have a tongue weight range between 250 lbs - 600 lbs so it'll work great with both your trailers and not be over capacity if you're below the upper 15% range.
This system includes a 2" shank but not a hitch ball. Depending on your coupler size you will either need a 2" Hitch Ball item # A-90 or a 2-5/16" hitch ball item # C40030.
I have linked a video below that will show you how to get this system set up and also walk you through its features.
