Thanks for the question Geoff, and there is not actually a Class II, 1-1/4" trailer hitch for your 2024 Kia Sportage, just 2" hitches. That said, if you want a 1-1/4" hitch because you have an accessory like a bike rack that fits a 1-1/4" hitch, there's a solution for that with a hitch reducer:
- Trailer Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # e63YR
This will allow you to use an accessory with a 1-1/4" shank in a 2" hitch, and it even comes with a pin and clip to mount in the 2" hitch. Then for the hitch itself on your '24 Sportage you can go with either of the following:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C94WR
- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e38KR
These are the same hitch with the only difference being the Curt has a glossy finish and the etrailer hitch has a matte black finish. So you can go with your preferred finish or just the best price if you don't have a preference.
