does this unit work with built in brake control system on a 2022 chevy 3500 dully duramax? i saw that some are not compatible with chevy/gmc.

No Dennis, you shouldn't need an Adapter # DX35FR with the factory brake controller on your 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. The only reason I say should and not will is because the software for your brake controller can be updated through the ECU so while you may not have any issues one day the Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuator # K71-651 may not work due to an update on your ECU.
