Is the 2024 Subaru Outback Wagon Hidden Hitch okay to use for towing? It makes me a little nervous since the receiver can be removed.

Yes, you can definitely use the Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT74YR to tow a trailer with your 2024 Subaru Outback Wagon. As long as you stay within the 350 lb tongue and 3,500 lb towing weight ratings (or lower than your vehicle if that's the case) you'll be perfectly safe to do so! I actually like the removable receiver feature because it gives you the ability to switch to a complete OEM look when you won't be using the receiver.

For wiring and a ball mount I recommend going with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118467 and Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45534 to complete your towing setup. The T-One is the most reliable wiring kit we have and the Curt Towing Started Kit comes with a hitch lock and cover in addition to the ball mount and 2" hitch ball.
