Installed at home. Fit perfect and completely hidden when receiver removed.
The "hidden hitch" is not hidden at all. The problem is the plate on the hitch where you hook up a chain if you pull a trailer. Unless you cut a large part out of your rear bumper, which would be visible if you stand behind the vehicle, the bumper will not fit back on the car.
It's a bad design because there is enough space to move that beam back and make that plate smaller, which would solve the issue. I have to cut the plate off and trim the beam to get the bumper back on.
To top things off, you need gorilla hands to put the receiver on or take it off.
The communication, information and customer service are all incredible! I loved the experience from start to finish, from the helpful information on the website to the email updates on the order processing and receiving the hitch to watching videos on the installation. The trailer hitch arrived on time and in great shape. What a blast of fresh air to have such great customer service. I will definitely go to them on any other trailer related purchases I make.
