Question:

Can the patriot 2022 be used in my 2022 Chevy Spark manual transmission vehicle where the battery needs to be disconnected to tow? Can I use my Jackery power pack to supply power to the unit and will the brakes work properly without having power from the battery?

As long as your Jackery portable power station has a 12v cigarette-style outlet to power the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR you'll be able to use the two together. The only concern is that you ensure that the power station has enough of a charge to last the length of your trip.

What I typically recommend for vehicles that require disconnecting the battery is to install a 12v outlet # RM-9332 that can be wired directly to the battery and then you'll always have power for the Patriot (as long as the battery has a charge). If you go this route I recommend also installing a charge line kit # RM-156-25 to charge the battery through the 7-way connection to the motorhome. Then you never have to worry about the battery being dead when you reach your destination.
