looking to see options for plug in play wiring options for a 2018 chevy Colorado duel option 4/7 pin would be great if not 4pin only to go with E98909 hitch

You will need to wire in the Hopkins Multi-Tow 7-Way Blade and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM11141144 on your 2018 Chevrolet Colorado. There is not a plug and play option available on vehicles which did not come with the factory tow package since the wiring is cut under the truck bed rather than terminated into a connector. I have linked an installation video near the bottom of the page which will walk you through the wiring process. This connector will also fit in the factory style cutout on your rear bumper so you do not have to use the supplied bracket.
This wiring is going to be compatible with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98909. But I recommend installing the wiring first so the cross beam on the receiver will not be in your way.
If you are going to need a brake controller you will want to use the Redarc # RED52VR. This is going to be a similar installation to the trailer connector in the wiring is just cut off and not terminated into a connector. I have linked an installation video for this one as well near the bottom of the page.
