The best hitch for a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox is the Curt item # C77FR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Chevy with included hardware.
The reason the Curt Hitch item # C77FR is the best hitch is because the crosstube mounts behind your rear bumper leaving only the 2" receiver exposed. This not only helps with ground clearance but it also looks better.
I have attached a couple of pictures below along with an installation video so you can see what this hitch looks like once installed.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C94FR and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
