Hello Homer, thanks for reaching out. We do offer a wiring harness for the 2026 GMC Terrain Elevation without the factory tow package. For that you will need the following:

- T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK68DR

Are you needing to add a trailer hitch also? Or just the wiring for now?

Hey Homer, how did things go with the wiring harness for your Terrain Elevation? Did the connection work out smoothly with your setup? Your update could make it easier for the next person adding wiring to their Terrain.

@JesseM I purchased what you suggested and it Will NOT fit my 2026 GMC Terrain Elevation. The plug behind the drivers side wheel well is a flat male 4 prong. The one with this unit is square.wish I could post a picture. I'm extremely frustrated.

@Brian Hey Brian. The Tekonsha # TK68DR I recommended above is a T-connector. It plugs in behind the driver and passenger side tail lights. If you pull out the tail light housing and separate the connector, the ends of the T-connector should match and you can plug in.
