Do i have to lower the exhaust to install the curt hitch for the 2020 chevy equinox

Expert Reply:
The exhaust does need to be temporarily lowered to install the Curt Class III hitch part # C77FR on the 2020 Chevy Equinox. The access holes in the frame may also need to be enlarged with a drilling or rotary tool to fit the hardware through the frame. I have attached an installation video for your reference on a 2019 Chevy Equinox but the installation will be the same on your 2020.
